Dear Millennials

I'm a millennial and just like you I don't like being called one. Most of us hate the term millennial because of its negative association. Just like you, I am tired of being called lazy, entitled, soft, and spoiled. Just like you, I am a first time home buyer. I spent my fair share of time paying off debt from school while trying to establish myself in my career. Everything we millennials do, is on demand. We can get everything we need by using our cell phone. Need to buy something, Amazon will have it at our doorstep tomorrow. If only buying a home could be that easy. This is where I come in, because finding someone we can trust and understand is hard. Like you, I find it hard to trust. Being a millennial, I learned to be transparent. I don't spend my every waking moment posting about my business. I tweet about life, what I am doing, where I am headed, and even talk about the donut I ate for breakfast that day. We are a generation that doesn't like being blasted with the same old message as to why I should choose your company over the other. We are a generation that cherishes one-on-one relationships. I am a real estate agent who cares about you as a person and understands you. I am not trying to sell you on the idea that I am the best, but trying to help you make the best decisions for yourself, even if you believe that it isn't working with me. Buying a home is terrifying. I'm here to help you through the process because I know how this market works. We are millennials, we aren't lazy or entitled, we are much more than that. I don't need to convince you that I am the best, that's for you to decide and I am happy to earn your business and your respect. Also if you know anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home I would be happy to assist them in the process.
Sincerely,
Elaina Musleh (A Millennial)
