Ever wondered how to stage a home. If you are looking to sell your home and want to get more for your money, I recommend staging. Here are some tips to help!
First start off with a plan. Having a good plan can mean more money in the bank. Some of the main staging tips are listed below:
1. Deep Clean- Hire a cleaning crew to come in and clean your whole house. This is fairly inexpensive and worth the money.
2. Repair and Replace- If you have anything in the house that need to be repaired or replaced I recommend doing so. You can always go to Lowes and get a quick and cheap fix for most things.
3. De-personalize - Go through the home and take down family photos. Most buyers want to visualize themselves in a home while touring.
4. De-Clutter- Make sure your home is nicely picked up. Buyers like to see big open spaces.
Staging has a huge affect on the sale of a home. 90% of buyers will use internet to help in their home search and your photos need to look good! A recent study shows that professionally staged homes spend 81% less time on the market then homes that are not staged.
